1st National Carnival Exhibition in Puerto Plata, the DR

Not only the capital of the country hosts exhibitions and multidisciplinary events dedicated to the national carnival, but other major cities as well.

Until March 14, do not miss the opportunity to visit the first National Carnival Exhibition in Puerto Plata, with costumes and characters from the carnival of the different provinces.

Held at the Commerce Club in front of Plaza Independencia, it is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The exhibition is carried out according to the health protocols established by the Dominican Government, maintaining physical distance and with the mandatory use of face masks.

The purpose of this exhibition is not to lose the tradition of carnival, which for decades is one of the Dominican cultural displays. The costumes are made of recycled materials.
